After many months of preparations, the day has finally arrived: some of UK’s biggest omni-channel retailers came together at Berry Bros & Rudd, one of London’s oldest and most prestigious wine tasting & fine dining venues, for the Omnichannel Leaders Summit.
Networking between retailers, exchanging best practices and most importantly, enjoying some lush wine were all on last night’s agenda.
Representatives from Phase Eight, Jigsaw, White Stuff, Coast, Ann Summers, Karen Millen, Dune, Fortnum & Mason, Oliver Bonas, Mastercard and others helped make the event a truly memorable one.
The focus of e-commerce has gradually shifted in recent years, gravitating from purely selling online, towards merging channels and increasing availability - in other words, increase the ROI on stock holding and reduce customer disappointment. Given the current e-commerce climate, ship-from-store was one of the main conversation topics throughout the entire evening.
The theme of the evening’s tasting was “The International Grape Varieties”, which means that we took our guests on an irresistible international wine journey, from France and Germany, all the way to New Zeeland, California and Australia.
