Taking Your Cloud Experience
to the Next Level

OVH to GCP

Preparing the next step in your OMS’ evolution towards the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

At OneStock, we’re always looking ahead— and that means continuously enhancing the infrastructure that powers your operations. We are preparing to launch an upgrade to our cloud architecture by migrating our platform from OVH to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This initiative is a strategic step forward, designed to bring even greater scalability, reliability, data security & protection, and governance to our platform — and to your business.

Scaling with You — Instantly and Globally

As your business grows and evolves, our infrastructure grows with it. GCP enables us to deliver even more flexible and responsive scalability, with smart resource allocation and auto-scaling built into a truly global backbone.

What this means for you:

Your operations can expand seamlessly, with performance that dynamically adapts to demand — wherever and whenever it happens.

Reliability at an Enterprise Level

GCP’s globally distributed architecture and self-healing infrastructure bring a new layer of resilience to the services you rely on every day. With its robust failover systems and proactive monitoring, GCP ensures higher service availability — by design.

What this means for you:

You benefit from increased fault tolerance, faster incident recovery, and consistent performance under all conditions.

Security Built Into Every Layer

By partnering with GCP, we are reinforcing our security foundations, building on end-to-end encryption, continuous security monitoring, and best-in-class access controls. Google’s security model is one of the most mature and advanced in the industry, continuously evolving to counter new threats.

What this means for you:

our data is protected with globally recognized security standards managed by an industry-leading cloud provider — monitored and managed 24/7.

Smarter Data Governance. Stronger Compliance.

GCP offers fine-grained control over data residency, access permissions, and auditability. It enables greater clarity and confidence in how data is stored and used.

What this means for you:

Transparent data governance with precise controls — giving you more visibility and compliance assurance.

Proven, Safe, and Already Delivering Results

This migration is not a leap into the unknown — it builds on a foundation that is already delivering exceptional results. Several of our largest clients are already running on GCP today, having been either directly onboarded or seamlessly migrated over the past 12 months. Their success confirms the strength, reliability, and maturity of our GCP-based infrastructure.

What this means for you:

You benefit from a well-tested and production-proven migration path

Client Q&A – Migration from OVH to GCP

Can you remind me what OVH and GCP are, and how they relate to OneStock?

OVH is the cloud infrastructure provider that has been hosting OneStock’s environments for many years. It has supported OneStock’s growth across Europe and allowed us to deliver a consistent service to our clients.
GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is Google’s next-generation cloud platform – global, resilient, and packed with modern tooling. It is built to support fast deployment, strong reliability, and a wide range of services for engineering teams.
This strategic migration marks a shift from a traditional hosting approach (OVH) to a cloud-native one (GCP). It’s a foundational step toward making our platform even more scalable, secure, and responsive to your evolving needs.

What exactly is a cloud infrastructure provider?

A cloud infrastructure provider is a company that delivers computing resources – like servers, data storage, networking, and security – over the internet. Instead of managing physical hardware on-premises or in private datacenters, we rely on these providers to host the physical servers running our platform efficiently.
Partnering with a cloud infrastructure provider allows OneStock to focus on building and improving the OneStock platform.
In our case, OVH has been our long-time provider. We’re now transitioning to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which gives us access to more advanced features, global reach, and a wider ecosystem of tools to better serve you.

Why are you migrating to GCP?

OVH has been a key partner in supporting OneStock’s growth and success over the years.  Over the past two years, we’ve carefully evaluated how we can maintain our international growth and offer even better performance and long-term scalability.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) brings us just that: a global, modern, and highly trusted cloud infrastructure. By migrating, we’re gaining access to an entire ecosystem of cutting-edge tools and technologies that will help us serve you faster, more reliably, and with more resilience.
This is not just a technical upgrade – it’s an investment in your long-term satisfaction and success.

How do I know if this migration applies to me?

If you’ve been contacted by our team, it means we’ve identified your organization as one that will benefit from the migration to GCP. We’re reaching out because we’ve reviewed your setup and we believe this move will offer tangible advantages to your day-to-day work.

Will this migration create risks or disruptions for my business?

We completely understand that any kind of infrastructure change can raise concerns. That’s why this is not a rushed or experimental move – it’s the result of two years of preparation, testing and actual migrations and onboardings.
We’ve already migrated some of our largest and most complex clients to GCP, and all new clients are onboarded with GCP  by default. These migrations have allowed us to test, refine, and strengthen our process.
We’ve designed this transition to be smooth and with minimal or no disruption to your day-to-day operations. If there’s anything specific to flag or coordinate, your Customer Success Manager (CSM) will proactively guide you through it.

What security measures is OneStock implementing to keep your data secure?

Data safety is our top priority. To initiate the migration, we copy your secured and encrypted data to the new environment on GCP. The original data on OVH stays untouched.
To provide extra peace of mind, read-only access to the OVH environment will be maintained until the complete migration has been finalized.

Will my data hosting location remain the same after the migration?

Nothing changes in terms of data hosting location with this migration.
The primary hosting location for all of our European client’s data will continue to be in the European Union.
For non-European clients, you will have the choice to have your data hosted on GCP’s EU servers or to elect a deployment in an area closer to your main user base, with servers in APAC or the US. This will ensure the best of both worlds in terms of security and performance.

Do I need to do anything for the migration?

You will receive a detailed migration procedure with any actions that may be required from your side.
Your CSM together with members of our technical support and expertise teams will review your specific setup, identify anything that needs attention, and share a simple, tailored plan for the transition – at a pace that works for you.

Will I be charged for the migration or for using GCP?

No. While the new GCP infrastructure brings many improvements – like enhanced failover, faster response times, and future-ready scalability – we strongly believe this upgrade is part of our commitment to delivering the best possible service to you.
This is an investment we’re making so that you can benefit from a stronger, more stable, and future-proof platform at no additional cost.

I have more questions – who can I speak to?

Your best starting point is your CSM, who is fully up to speed on your account and the migration. If you’d like to go deeper into technical aspects, we’re more than happy for our technical team members to discuss any questions together.
We’re here to support you every step of the way.
